7 Years Later

No news is good news! We are at the 7 year mark. Caine has been doing well and life has been good to him. He turns 11 (!) this April so he's definitely a senior citizen. He likes to eat dinner at 4pm and be in bed by 9! He got in trouble recently for breaking a window (twice) barking at the mail carrier. Needless to say, he may be getting older but he's still a puppy at heart. I don't think that will ever change.

  1. Ive just read your story. My 9 year old Labrador, who is fit and clever in every way has just been diagnosed with terminal tongue cancer and i cant bear the thought of losing him. Ive been told a dog can not survive without a tongue. Your dog shows this isnt true...i so wish i knew where to find a vet that could help.

  2. My shepherd sheph mix of 12 years just got diagnosed with terminal tongue cancer. Specialist at the University said only option is removal of the tongue. She mentioned the meatball feeding method. Going to be having surgery done soon as giving up on her is not an option.
