I like to have Caine do silly things. We had this box, and I thought it would be amusing if Caine got in it and sat! He's a good sport about everything.
Thanks so much for posting updates about Caine. I followed his story through January and February, and had been wondering how he was doing now. It is wonderful to see his sweet face smiling. You are an amazing caretaker - he's a very lucky dog.

Oh, this made me laugh. Maybe it's this breed of dog that has led to the personality, but my dog Duke looks just like Caine and would do the same thing if I asked. Glad to see he's doing so well!
This is one of the most heart breaking stories I have ever read. I am so sorry for everything your family has dealt with and for poor Caine just being a regular curious dog that wants to put his tongue on everything. It definetely looks like Caine is feeling better and I was happy to read that he is drinking and eating as well. Good luck, you have a very special dog.
